Funny Guy

What a riot!! I took Mister R's pictures this summer when his baby sister was born. Today R had quite a time working me to the bone!! Even with a typical 3 year old, lots of goose poo and a really overcast sky...we sure did laugh and have fun!! Thanks for coming out again, W Family!! I saved your 'GOOOD' family picture for you to see first!! :)
This picture pretty much sums up what R thought of pictures!!

R loved the geese!!

He did NOT like goose poo on his shoes!! I, however,
LOVE THIS PICTURE!!
CLASSIC!!!
An 'antique' play on a picture

I love R's face here!! He cracks me up!! :)

ENJOY!!

My Very 1st Niece - Miss Abby

I got to take my very first niece's pictures this week! She was SUCH a good model. She slept through just about the whole photo shoot. We even got her in the teacup!! Her big brother didn't do that...so we were really happy! She was PERFECT! Did I mention she's GORGEOUS too!? I have a feeling that with 2 little boys, I'm going to snatch her and do the girly stuff with her. I can't wait!

Loved Her!

Little Miss J was perfect! I mean that! I know I say that about all the babies, but Miss J was bent, pulled, folded and molded into all different positions and barely fussed at all. I was even lucky enough to get a smile out of her!
Thanks for coming back in, S and B!! You certainly should have more babies...you make perfect models!! :) Even though Miss J gave us a bit of a mess!!

Smokin'

The Divine Miss E - She wasn't too excited to have her pictures taken with me, but it sure was fun to hang out and gab with her parents while we waited. This little babe is the first born daughter of my brother's dear friend. I've known her dad since he was basically born!! How fun to be a part of his new family's pictures!! (Thanks, B & B!!)

This little baby had me working tonight!! But we ended the night with a bang!! It's probably one of my favorites I've EVER taken!! I hope it was worth all the hours the parents spent with me!!

Changes...

Time's are a changin'!!
There are some changes being made to Amy Ward Photography! Life is full of lessons and I've learned a few hard ones this week. There are some upcoming changes being made to my website, photography forms, and even with the ordering process. All changes will be effective July 15th.
Please remember, I work very hard to make sure that your portraits maintain professional standards. It is devastating for me to learn that my work is being copied from my own clients through the use of scanners. Please remember that these images are copyrighted and it is illegal to scan, copy or reproduce in anyway!! Not only that...it hurts my feelings!!
Stay tuned for the new changes!! Things are going to get fun around here and it's about time!!

Baby R

Here is Baby "R" and her very proud, older brother "R." He was the strong, silent type. She was a typical, quiet, sweet newborn! Considering he's only 2, I think we did quite well! I really like the first one...he's so serious here!
Thanks for sending them, K.M...you are very kind!!
I hope you like them, "W" family!!

A "Potty" Girl

This girl sure knew how to party...I mean, POTTY! For something so small and sweet, she wins the prize for making the most messes. She got her mom, dad and me...but, after a few hours, we managed to get a collection of a few cute pictures!! B&N, she's sooo darn cute!! Thanks for letting me take these. It means a lot to me. I hope that these picutres mean a lot to you, too!

Thanks, H Family!!

This picture pretty much sums up what "K" was feeling about this photography thing!

I love these two!!

P.S. My two ABSOLUTE favorites I am saving for your proof book.

You'll have to wait!

They are my favorites!!

Classic.

This senior was referred to me by one of my biggest cheerleaders!! Thank you, B.G!! It is very much appreciated.
'A', you are a classic beauty! I rushed right home to look at them and couldn't wait to put some up on the blog. I hope you like them!! 'A' is headed to the University of Illinois this fall to become a veterinarian. I've been so blessed to have been given the opportunity to take pictures of not only beautiful seniors this year, but intelligent ones too! Thanks 'M' family!! She's got a bright future!
P.S. I'm saving the mother/daughter pictures for your proof book. They'll be a surprise. :)

Mr. D

Could this little man be ANY cuter? He was ADORABLE...not to mention he behaved VERY WELL!! He was such a trooper. That being said, he does hold the world record for the most 'accidents' EVER in my newborn portrait experiences. 8 TIMES...I think he got his Dad, 5 of those times. E & C, your patience and persistence paid off. The pictures look great! I hope you enjoy your sneak peak!!
P.S. Thanks S, B & G for sending the adorable new family my way. You are too kind!!

Senior Cousin

She's "UCLA" bound and she's my cousin! We had an adventure...but she survived! She was a good sport throughout the process...even when I was being silly to get her laughing! I haven't loaded the pictures of her standing in the middle of a creek yet, but if they turn out...I'll post them as well! )

STELLAR 'S'

This is my cousin's dear friend who wanted to take her senior pictures with me, too! :) We fought the elements...wind, sun and attack geese, but we survived. This was a fun photo shoot because Sam and 'S' shared an appointment and even jumped in for a few 'friend' shots. I loved listening to their bantering back and forth...it was a fierce competition to see who could out 'model' the other! I think it's a tie! They were both amazing!
ENJOY!!

Sam. I. Am.

My curly-q cousin is a senior. This certainly made me feel old. Lately, I haven't feel that old when I take senior pictures, but today was quite different. She's all grown up with adult goals and a direction in life. She is still a silly kid and we certainly have the same sense of humor. (It runs in the family.) Anyhow, she's all grown up and looking as adorable as ever! Her personality certainly shines through in these!! I hope you like them, kid! :)

Did I happen to mention she's going to college on a running scholarship!?
